A revision of the spider genera Lygromma and Neozimiris (Araneae, Gnaphosidae). "The 11 known species of Lygromma and eight of Neozimiris are diagnosed and described.

Relationships between the classical families Gnaphosidae and Prodidomidae are examined, and on the basis of shared, derived characters it is concluded that the prodidomids are. Lygromma is a spider genus of Central and South are species with eight, six (e.g. senoculatum, L.

valencianum) and no eyeless L. anops is endemic to Galapagos, while the not closely related blind L. gertschi is found only on Jamaica.
